wearing stolen cologne, kenta can sometimes be seen as vain, for he likes to experience luxuries he never had before. beneath many layers, there can be, perhaps, a good heart to be found, but he's a lad inclined to be cruel and tyrannical to people he thinks deserving of his treatment. a criminal with a soft spot for older women. a voice with big range.

Born in Namai to a rice farmer's family, Kenta's surname was already enough to tell lengths about how he was seen by the Othardian society. Albeit content with his destiny being set as a farmer like parents and sister, his hunger for more started when the Empire snatched all he had from his hands. Living a tad too close to Doma, not only he lost lands, but every other member of his family.With nowhere to go and no home to call his, especially when other villagers from Namai expressed they didn't want to deal with other person's problems thanks to having their own load already, the Hyuran lad found himself at The Ruby Sea, taking a ship to Limsa Lominsa, where he'd establish himself for a quick while.

Kenta lived as a pickpocket and a thief until being held by the Yellowjackets, paying for his deeds with communal service. He was, for sure, an outsider. And a criminal, even. Limsa Lominsa wasn't the right place for him, for he also didn't seem to fit the pirate life, and so to Yanxia he returned.The slums of Wansui became his next stop, where he'd find himself 'adopted' by a highbinder Tong. His thievery skills and his personality of being up to no good fitted what they were looking for in new recruits, and in the Tin Dei Wui he finally started feeling like there was some sort of belonging. Fire met gasoline and the 'Sunny Boy Yichen' was ready to delve in a world of factions and fights.
